Thanachok Group Participates as a Speaker in the “Beautiful Canals, Clean Water” Project
On Friday, 22 May 2026, Thanachok Group participated as a guest speaker, providing knowledge on household used cooking oil management under the “Beautiful Canals, Clean Water” project. The event aimed to promote proper wastewater management practices for a cleaner environment and a more sustainable quality of life.
The project was organized by the Natural Resources and Environment Division of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO).
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Udon Rahothan, Deputy Chief Executive of the Nonthaburi Provincial Administrative Organization, together with members of the executive team, PAO council members, school administrators, speakers from the Office of Environmental and Pollution Control Region 6, and representatives from related organizations.
The target participants included Village Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Volunteers, temples, all 35 schools under the Nonthaburi PAO, and relevant officials, with more than 150 participants attending the event.
The objective of the program was to enhance public awareness and understanding of proper used cooking oil management, while promoting the conversion of waste cooking oil into biodiesel, an environmentally friendly alternative energy source. The project also encouraged public participation in protecting canals and local water resources within their communities.
The event was held at the 4th Floor Conference Room, Nonthaburi OTOP Center, Om Kret Subdistrict, Pak Kret District, Nonthaburi Province, Thailand.
