Projects Implemented in Collaboration with the National Housing Authority
The National Housing Authority and Thanachok Vegetable Oil (2012) Limited Partnership have executed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to promote and execute activities to manage used vegetable oil in communities of the National Housing Authority. We will continue to encourage residents of the communities to effectively manage the used vegetable oil and to run experiments to produce biodiesel in a manner most suitable for the communities.
With regard to management of used vegetable oil in the household sector, it directly actually affects the overall ecological system, environment and public utilities within the communities and there has been no organization dedicated to solving the used vegetable oil problem. The National Housing Authority has more than 700,000 housing units under its care around the country so it is aware of such problem, which affects the quality of life of the residents. Thanachok Vegetable Oil (2012) Limited Partnership takes part in this effort with an aim to encourage people in the affected communities to effectively solve the problem from within the communities, which will eventually strengthen the communities in a sustainable manner.
The National Housing Authority and Thanachok Vegetable Oil (2012) Limited Partnership have executed such MOU to promote and implement the activities to manage used vegetable oil in communities of the National Housing Authority and to support production of biodiesel from such used vegetable oil, which will eventually lead to the development of a learning center where the production of biodiesel using used vegetable oil from households can be experimented.
