Recently, Mr. Niphon Lerttatsanee, Senior Executive Vice President, Engineering Project Management and Logistics, Refinery and Oil Trading Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, in his capacity as a Director of BSGF Co., Ltd.; Mr. Thanawat Linchongsupongkot, Chairman of Thanachoke Group; and Ms. Nongnuch Boonprasertkul, Senior Executive Vice President, Chief Executive, Food Business Thailand, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “Fry, Don’t Waste” and “No Reuse of Cooking Oil” initiatives for the management of used cooking oil.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Ms. Gloyta Nathalang, Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and was held at “Ho Yu” Restaurant, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.
Under this collaborative MOU, which aims to promote better public health and foster a sustainable environment, more than 700 restaurant branches nationwide from 11 leading restaurant brands under ThaiBev Food Business will deliver their used cooking oil to BSGF Co., Ltd. The collected used oil will be utilized as a raw material for the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), supporting the circular economy, advancing toward a low-carbon society, and fully aligning with the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green) Economic Model.
