The National Housing Authority (NHA) organized the “Kick Off: Green Housing Initiative” under the concept of efficient waste management. The event was presided over by Mr. Taweepong Wichaidit, Governor of the NHA, along with Mr. Thanawat Linchongsupongkot, Chairman of Thanachoke Group, Mr. Dulmonchai Wiwatbowrong, Deputy Governor of the NHA, together with executives and relevant personnel. The event took place at the 200 Years Park, NHA Headquarters, Nawamin Road, Khlong Chan Subdistrict, Bang Kapi District, Bangkok.

The event featured informative booths showcasing comprehensive waste management practices, ranging from proper sorting of general waste to household waste. There were also demonstrations of eco-friendly practices such as the Green Cone food waste composting system, leaf shredder demonstrations to accelerate decomposition, and an exhibition of community products promoting the efficient use of resources.

In addition, the event introduced the Used Cooking Oil Management Project, aimed at raising awareness and knowledge on the safe and proper handling of used cooking oil among NHA staff and community residents. The project encourages the application of these practices in daily life to minimize environmental impacts and support the long-term sustainable development of NHA communities.
